Welcome to St Thomas’s C.E. Primary School
On behalf of the Pupils, Staff, Governors and trustees I would like to welcome you to St Thomas’s Church of England Primary School. St Thomas’s is very proud to be a part of the Roch Valley Multi Academy Trust and works closely with Holy Trinity Primary school. Our Trust vision ‘In God Stronger Together’ is at the heart of all we do.
St Thomas’s Primary School sits in the heart of community and has approximately 380 pupils on role. We are a growing, caring and family orientated school which strives to offer the very highest standards in education. The school serves a richly diverse community with the majority of pupils being of Pakistani heritage. We believe this not only makes our school unique to others but also enables us to enrich the lives of the children that attend.
Our door is always open and we are always willing to accommodate visitors to our special school.
The adults at the school ensure that the school provides a caring, carefully structured learning environment which allow our children to flourish. We offer the very highest standards in education while also ensuring that our children develop a sense of adventure and wonder.
We are enormously proud of our school curriculum which allows our children to develop their learning outside of the classroom. We believe that this is a fundamental part of supporting children with their understanding of the World in which they live
An integral part school is our relationship with parents. We work closely together to ensure that any concerns are taken seriously and dealt with swiftly.
You will find lots of useful information about the school on this website which we hope will give you a feel of our fabulous school. Please feel free to contact Mrs Smalley or Miss Davenport in the office if you have any questions. Mrs Haughton is our Special Educational Needs coordinator and is available to discuss any additional needs your child may have.
Thank you for visiting!
Mr Van Hecke (Headteacher)
