Today begin by counting 0-5 and then backwards. Putting one finger up as you say a number or one finger down when your counting backwards. Next i want you to have a look at sorting objects into groups. So go around your house and find different items that are different colours. Put them all in a pile and then see if you can sort them into the same colour groups. If you can do this easily see if you can sort the items a different way e.g. are they hard or soft.

 

Phonics

Today I want you to get a wooden spoon and go around your house investigating the different noises of objects. So when you find an object e.g. door/cushion tap it gently with your spoon and listen to the sound it makes. Is it a loud/quiet sound? Do all the tings you tap sound the same? How many different sounds can you find?
