Autumn One- Sets

We work on the children making sets in Autumn One. Making sets is a very important early maths skill, developing children's thinking and learning. For children to make sets of objects they have to find similarities and differences. Children look at patterns, counting, size in order to put the different objects into a set. It helps children to problem solve.  We link our maths work to stories to help the children understand the different concepts.
