Mathematics

In Nursery we follow 'Master the Curriculum' scheme of work from the White Rose Hub. It breaks the children's learning down into small steps and covers a range of topics throughout the year.  The activities and resources get children engaged and excited about maths, which they can then take with them as they move up the school.

Spring One

This half term the children will be looking at subitising number 3. They will look at different combinations of dots and real objects to say if there are 1,2 or 3 things that they can see, without having to count them. The children will also be learning about the composition of numbers 4 and 5.
