This lesson is a recap of learning of what the children should know about perimeter from Y3 (that I taught them) and Y4.

Literacy Activity - We are focusing on the relationship between Willie and Sammy the dog and are going to write a descriptive piece about our own dog/pet using a range of adjectives and expanded noun phrases. First of all, we will recap what we already know about Sammy and the type of dog he is. We will then describe our own pets (if we have any (make it up)) and say why they are special to us as Sammy is to Tom. We will plan the piece first as a mind map before writing a short description full of adjectives and expanded noun phrases. Try to think of exciting adjectives rather than dull one (think of how we have done it in school)
