Activity 1: Read the news paper report
Today's first activity is to read the news report attached below. I would like you to highlight what you think is the most important information in the article. Some of the thing written in the article, you may want to discuss with a sibling or adult in your home.
I would also like you to think of 5 different headlines for this news report. Try and make them engaging so people choose to read this article.
Activity 2: Read First News 1-2 and answer questions
Now, you are going to read 2 'First news' articles. Do the articles have a common theme? Why do you think the authors are writing about the topics they are? Once you have read the articles, I would like you to answer the questions below about the articles.
Activity 3: Prepare an interview
You are going to interview the three presenters! You will need to watch the link which shows the three presenters talking about racism.
