Week 2 Lesson 4 - Introducing angles

Activity 1: Watch video and complete comprehension

You will need to click on the following link to access the lesson resources.

Your first task is to watch the video (daggers for King Duncan) and take notes about what is happening, as this will help you complete your comprehension and writing task.

After you have watched the video, I would like you to complete the comprehension questions below.

Activity 2: What do they mean?

Think about the events, which have just happened in the video. Can you decide what each of the following phrases and words mean?

Activity 3: Comic strip

I would like you to create a comic strip minimum of 6 parts, which should be based on Lady Macbeth and Macbeth. Your comic strip must include dialogue. Can you remember when we did dialogue in class?

Activity 1: Recap on restaurant food interactively

I have spoken to Madam Bell since we have left school and she has directed me to an interactive website you can use. Your first task is to refresh your memory on foods in french. I would like you to focus on restaurant food today. You need to choose the full tutorial to guide you through the whole activity.


Activity 2: Create a french menu for your french restaurant 

I would like you to create your own styled menu for your own french restaurant. You will need to include: the name of the dish in french and english, a picture of what it looks like and the price.

You may want to look at some famous french dishes to include on your menu. You can design your menu however you want.

2:30pm - 3:00pm READING

It is really important that you are reading at home, whilst we are off. Therefore, I want you to use this time wisely to read something, it can be anything as long as you are reading. You can use the following: 

  • Books you have access to at home.
  • Access different text types from and read online.
  • Complete reading activities and their comprehension questions
