Below is some important information about your child's weekly routine.
Reading books
Please can you make sure your child has his/her reading book in school every day. Please could you make sure your child's diary has been signed when you have read with them in order for the book to be changed. Books will be changed every Monday.
Remember it is important that you read with your child every night.
Lending Library
Children will get the opportunity to pick a book from our library and to take it home. The children will be able to change their book on a Friday afternoon. Please can you make sure your child’s book is in school so it can be changed.
PE
Children will have PE on a Tuesday. Please can you make sure your child's full PE kit is in school.
Learning Logs
Learning log challenges will be given at the beginning of every half term and will be linked to work that we have been doing in school. Please can you make sure that you complete a piece of work every two weeks to share with the rest of the class. Enjoy this opportunity to sit and work with your child but I do ask that it is the children's writing within the learning log.
Spellings
Children will be given a spelling list every Thursday and will be tested on the following Friday. Please can you practice the spellings with your child.

Today Jess took us to look at the crane!
PC Adam came to visit us!
We have been looking at Democracy! We learnt who our leaders are and then we decided to vote for a class leader. All the children came up with some fantastic ideas for what they would do if they were the leader. Musa was our winner!
We made Pancakes! They were delicious!
We have learning about our basic need in Science. We learnt that exercise is good for our bodies. We did some diffrent types of exercises and talked about our favourite type of exercise.
