Phonics
To start today's phonics please can you recap all of your phase 3 and phase 5 sounds that you find tricky. You can use your sound mats or you could use the flash cars on phonics play www.phonicsplay.co.uk
Can you now practice some of your tricky words- You need to be able to read and spell these! Practise the ones that you find difficult. Choose up to 5.

Today we are going to look at the sounds 'oe' like in toe, 'oa' like in boat and 'o_e' like bone.
Can you read and write these words?

Reading – Have you read any books from Big Cat Collins?

Topic – People who help us
Last week we found out about Florence Nightingale and Mary Seacole, two famous women who helped people in the past. Both of these women were nurses and they cared for and looked after people.
Can you think of any other people who help us? Can you create a mindmap to show all the different people who help to look after us and keep us safe? How many can you think of? Can you draw pictures and label them?
