11:00am - 12:15pm LITERACY/READING
Activity 1: Write an informal letter
Today, you are going to be writing an informal letter as Lady Macbeth to her husband, Macbeth. Can you remember how to write an informal letter? Watch this video to help you: https://www.bbc.co.uk/teach/skillswise/writing-a-letter/zbc8vk7 . You will also need to think about your purpose for writing to Macbeth. You will need to reflect back on how Lady Macbeth has changed from the start of the plan to now. You may want to do a quick plan to help structure your letter.
The purpose of your letter is:
- Apologise to Macbeth
- Show her regret
- Beg him not to stop his reign of terror
- Convince him to confess all
This is your only activity for literacy so I am looking for a lot of effort to go into this. I would expect a minimum of a page longer and anything else is a bonus.
12:15pm - 1:15pm LUNCH TIME
1:15pm - 2:30pm FOUNDATION - HISTORY
I would like you to create your own Shakespeare quiz. This is to reflect back on everything we have done and learnt about William Shakespeare. You can create it with Powerpoint, Kahoot! or writing it out on paper. I would like it to be at least 10 questions long. I will share some of them with the rest of 6T when they are completed. Your questions could be: open ended, true or false, picture based, etc...
