Activity 1: Re-watch Laura's 6 months time message

Yesterday, we watched Laura's 6 months time message to herself, which features on the Nationwide bank adverts. Before you complete today's work, you need to re-watch the video to remind yourself about Laura's wishes. 

After you have finished watching Laura's video again, I would like you to think of her emotions throughout the video. You need to look at the video stills below and think where them stills come in the video. Can you comment on Laura's emotions at this point in the video?

Activity 2: Emotion Investigation

We have spoken about emotions a lot this year, especially through show not tell. Today, I would like you to look at the emotions sheet and circle at least 5 that you do NOT know. You are then going to use an online dictionary to find out the meanings of these words. 

Can you put these 5 words into a sentence?

Activity 3: Write your 'in 6 months time' speech

Now, it is your turn! You are going to write your '6 months time' script inspired by Laura's on the Nationwide advert. You will need to look at your ideas which you should have noted down yesterday to help you. Make sure your script is fairly long and not too short. 

Once you have finished, I would like you to have a go at recording your own video like Laura did. Send me your video over class dojo.
