Phonics

Today for your phonics i would like you to try blending sounds (putting sounds together) in order to make some words. I want you to use the pictures you have been drawing for your animals e.g. dog, cat, cow, rabbit, pig, goat, hen, horse. Next you need to listen to the video clips as i will be using my robot talk to sound the words out. You need to blend the sounds i am saying to find the correct picture. Good luck!

Maths

Begin today with your finger aerobics counting forwards and backwards from 0-10. Next i would like you to draw around your hands to make a hand print. Do this six times and then stick your hands together (see the picture below). You now have a hand measuring stick. Go around your house and measure different things. What is the tallest thing in your house? What is the smallest thing in your house? How tall are you?

Activity

I would like you to continue making your animal families. Today i would like you to draw and find the babies to an owl, a bear, a deer, an elephant, a kangaroo and a lion. You can use the video below to help you.
