Activity 1: Read 'Night Bus Extract' from the Prisoner of Azkaban
- How do you think Harry is feeling through the events in the extract? Write 2 impressions and support your answer with evidence from the text.
- Watch the clip of the night bus scene. Do you think they have captured the scene well in terms of how J.K.Rowling has written it? Is there anything they have missed out from the extract

Activity 3: Read 'Night Bus Extract 2' from the Prisoner of Azkaban
- Find two phrases that show the difference in register in the way that Stan Shunpike speaks and the Daily Prophet Article is written. Think about which ones is formal and which one is informal. Can you explain your answers?

You are making history Year 6! In the years to come, other children who come into our world will learn about the pandemic we are currently living! For the next two days during your foundation time, I would like you to create a time capsule about your experience in lockdown. It will be something you can look back on with your family and see what it was like. It will also teach us to remember this time and to make the most of our days when we can return to normal. Below, I will attach activities which you can do for your time capsule. This is an activity which you can do as a family as this is time we should be using for quality family time. I would love to see what you can come up with.

It is really important that you are reading at home, whilst we are off. Therefore, I want you to use this time wisely to read something, it can be anything as long as you are reading. You can use the following:
