12:15pm - 1:15pm LUNCH TIME
1:15pm - 2:30pm FOUNDATION
HAPPY BIRTHDAY WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE!
This term, we should have been focusing on him as a part of Shakespeare's England and Monarchs topic. This is a day where people remember him and all of his amazing work. Today, I would like you to pick from the activities below to complete.
2:30pm - 3:00pm READING
It is really important that you are reading at home, whilst we are off. Therefore, I want you to use this time wisely to read something, it can be anything as long as you are reading. As it is William Shakespeare's day today, I would like you to use getepic.com to read one of his plays or one of the information texts I have assigned you. The plays do have vocabulary in them that you may not understand but do not let that put you off. You also have the option to complete the reading comprehension, which is attached below for you.
These are your choices on GetEpip:
- Macbeth
- A Midsummer nights dream
- Hamlet
- Romeo and Juliet
- The Tempest
- William Shakespeare
- Will's Words: How William Shakespeare Changed the Way You Talk
If you are struggling to access Getepic.com with your password sent via ClassDojo, please message me so I can help!
Remember, you should be reading for a minimum of 30 minutes each day. Make sure you are using this time to catch up on your reading.
