Nursery
We hope you have had a nice break. This half term the children will be looking at the topic of 'Minibeasts'. They will be answering the question 'Who goes to the Ugly Bug Ball?' The children will be investigating the different types of minibeasts they can find, where they live and what would make a good minibeast house.
The children have had a great time on their trips to the Cronkshawfold Farm. They helped Farmer Dot to feed the chickens and her goats. They went exploring in the woods and helped to plant some radishes. Some of the children picked red currants and black currants and some children picked rhubarb. The children were all well behaved and had a very enjoyable day. Please look at our photographs and ask you child to tell you about them.
During this lovely weather we got the paddling pool out for the children to cool off in. They had a great time splashing their feet in it.
The children have got some special visitors in Nursery this week. We have got our own caterpillars, which we are watching. They have already grown quite a lot. The children are keeping an eye on them waiting for them to make their cocoons. We will keep you updated. The childen's caterpillars have turned into Butterflies!!!
The children had a lovely time at their Eid party. They played games in the hall with Reception and then came back to Nursery to play pass the parcel and eat lots of yummy food.
