Phonics

For your phonics today i want you to continue to practise with the letters we have been learning. You will need to write your letters on separate pieces of paper. Then see if you can say the grapheme (name) of the letter, the phoneme (sound), do the action and sing the song. Then using your letters put two or three letters together and see if you can make some words. Make the sounds of each letter and blend them together to read your words. I will start you off with some words that you can make up:   sat, cat, tap, dog, mop.

Maths

Begin by ordering your numbers 0-10, see if you can do it faster than the last time you did it. Then log onto Espresso Discovery and click on Foundation and then Maths. Next click on Numbers 0-20 and then activities. Once on here make sure you are on 'Know the Number' and i would like you to play the games called 'Find the Number'.

Activity

Today i would like you to learn some more Makaton signs. Please watch the video and see if you can do the signs back to me. Ask Mummy or Daddy to video you and send it on the class dojo.
