Spelling 

 

Spelling is very important. Your child will be asked to use their phonics knowledge when spelling using the phase 3 and phase 5 sounds.

But it does get tricky for your child when we can sound out some words. We call these our tricky words. 

Over the next few weeks whilst your child is at home please can you ask your child to read and spell these tricky words.
