Task 1: Watch 'Coping With Classwork'
When you go to high school, it will be different for a number of reasons. The biggest change you will probably face is having new teachers for every subject. You will get your head around it but it may be overwhelming at first. You will also have homework for most subjects each week which is more than you got in primary school. It is so important that you are organised as detentions are given out very easily for no homework (trust me, I learnt the hard way).

Task 2: Why are you amazing?
This year has been a tough year for all of us in different ways. This may be the pressure of SATs, your high expectations of yourself or you becoming more independent. Just because we struggle at some things, doesn't mean we are not amazing at other things and that is something you need to remember. As we reflect on our well being this week, I would like you to think about what makes you an amazing person. You need to start high school with positively and maintain your confidence whilst you are there.
I would like you to fill in the worksheet or write your answers on a piece of paper. Think carefully about your answers and remember them.
Task 3: Session 7 'What is normal anyway'
Complete the transition lesson for today named 'what is normal anyway'. You will need to look at the powerpoint first before filling in the worksheets. Remember, the previous lessons do not need to be completed for you to join in with this lesson. Please make sure you make an effort to complete these lessons as they are important, especially with no transitions this year.
