Today for your phonics i would like you to listen to the video below of me doing some robot talking and i would like you to listen to the sounds i am saying and put them together to work out what object i need you to get.

 

Maths

For your maths today begin with your finger aerobics counting forwards and backwards from 0-10. Then i want you to do a scavenger hunt for items inside and outside your house. I would like you to find:

1 teddy

2 shoes

3 socks

4 stones/pebbles

5 books

6 sticks

7 spoons

8 toys

9 pieces of paper

10 lentils

If you manage these then try and have a go at this:

11 blue things

12 red things

13 white things

14 green things

15 black things

Activity

Please sit down with your children and talk to them about VE Day which is happening tomorrow. Explain to your children that this day was when we celebrated the end to people from different countries fighting. Tell your children that everybody had a street party to celebrate that World War Two was over. Show your children the video below. I would then like you to make some bunting to hang up in your house windows ready to celebrate VE Day tomorrow. Please post a picture of your bunting on the class dojo so that i can see all your hard work. You could even make some cakes to eat tomorrow. I will put some bunting on below that you can print out and colour in, but if you can make your own that's even better.
