Literacy Activity - For this activity, it is important you have listened to both Chapter 1 and 2. We are considering the emotions of the characters in the story. We shall focus on the emotions of Hiccup. How is he feeling at each part of the story? The higher up the graph, the happier/more relieved he is, the lower on the graph, the more he is terrified. Once Hiccup's emotional journey has been plotted on the graph, I would like you to describe exactly how Hiccup is feeling using the word bank provided to help you. Choose words that match up and write them on the graph at the correct points. Do you think all of the novices (children) feel the same way? How do you know? Could you create another graph for one of the other children - Fishlegs, Snotlout, Dogsbreath?
