Good morning Year 2!
I can't believe that it is already Friday. You have been doing a great job with your home learning and I am really proud of you all.
I have set some maths, continuing to recap over the fraction work we had started before we finished school. In Literacy I would like you to create a character description, we have done quite a few of these at school so I know you will produce some great writing, just remember your capital letters and full stops. It is also important to get outside and get some fresh air and you could even try some shadow drawing.
I hope you all have a lovely, relaxing weekend enjoying the sunshine!

Write a character description for the monster in the picture. Remember what we have used in class when describing characters: -Where do they live? -How do they look? -How do they behave? -Do they have hobbies/ what do they do in their spare time / what do they like or not like to do?
Use the above prompts to help to help you write a paragraph describing the monster. |

We've had fabulous weather this last few days. Can you use that to create a shadow picture. Choose an item of your choice. Use the sun to help create a shadow, trace around it and colour/decorate it. See the sheet below if you are unsure/for examples. |
