Reading Activities - The Tales of Beedle the Bard. Today's Tale is called 'The Fountain of Fair Fortune'. Each story has a moral or meaning behind it and after each one, there are a collection of notes written by Albus Dumbledore (Headmaster of Hogwarts) that provide a little bit of history and meaning behind each tale. Please tick the box to prove you have listened to the tales.

Maths Activity - MNP Volume Lesson 7 - For today's lesson we are learning how many millilitres (ml) make up the imperial measurement of 1 pint. 1 pint = 568ml. We will use this information to work out and scale up or down whole number of pints or fraction of a pint. Watch the videos careful and use the methods taught.

Literacy Activity - Setting description - Once you have listened to today's fairy tale (The Fountain of Fair Fortune), we are going to write a setting description of the enchanted fountain. Based on the image on the activity, I would like you to come up with some expanded noun phrases (ENP). Remember a ENP contains a determiner, at least 1 adjective and a noun e.g. the sky burned ruby (this is a quote from the text which tells us it is nearly sunset and they were running out of time). Once you have come up with lots of descriptive phrases (be adventurous and play around with language), I would like a short setting description written in full sentences using your phrases.
