Welcome to Year 3R!

Welcome to Year 3R! 1

Welcome back, we hope you had a lovely holiday. This half term is going to be a busy one!

The children are very excited to be starting swimming lessons (information to follow) and to showcase some of our learning in our class assembly (30th January @ 10.15 am). We will continue to change reading books every Monday and library books every Thursday. PE is also on Mondays.

Our class novel is War Horse by Michael Morpurgo, which the children are really enjoying.

In History this half term we are travelling back to the Stone Age! There we will meet prehistoric people and learn about their way of life. We will learn about the stone tools they used, the houses they lived in, what clothes they wore and what they ate. We will also explore how early humans began farming and developed copper, bronze and iron.
