11:00pm - 12:15pm LITERACY/READING
Activity 1: Learn and recite
Today's literacy task is a short one so I expect it to be done properly. In Shakespeare's original script of Macbeth, the witches cast this spell when Macbeth visits them for a second time.
Double, double toil and trouble;
Fire burn, and caldron bubble.
Fillet of a fenny snake,
In the cauldron boil and bake;
Eye of newt, and toe of frog,
Wool of bat, and tongue of dog,
Adder’s fork, and blind-worm’s sting,
Lizard’s leg, and owlet’s wing,
For a charm of powerful trouble,
Like a hell-broth boil and bubble.
For today's literacy lesson, I would like you to practice saying the spell and think about how the witches would say the spell. You may want to watch and listen to the video below to help you.

I would like you to record yourself saying the spell and attach it to your portfolio on Class Dojo.
Activity 2: What will happen next?
As activity 1 told you, Macbeth will visit the witches for a second time. What do you think will happen in the next part of Macbeth? On the class story post, can you post your predictions?
