For your phonics today i would like you to watch the video below of Miss Birks introducing your next letter. The letter 'd'.

Maths

Begin with ordering your numbers 0-10 and if you can do that 0-15. Next i want you to play make me the same. You can use anything you have got in your house; toys, raisins, socks etc. Next Mummy or Daddy will put out a number of items e.g. 6 raisins. Then you will need to count how many things they have put out and then you need to put the same amount out and count to check. To challenge you Mummy and Daddy could give you some items to begin with and so you will need to count how many items you have first and then work out if you need to add more items to make the correct total or if you need to take some away.

Activity

For your activity today i thought it would be great fun to make a den in your house. You can use blankets, string, rope, cushions. I have put a video on below to give Mummy or Daddy some ideas to help you build your den. Please send me your den photographs on class dojo for me, i cant wait to see them.
