Summer Term
Welcome back after the half term holiday. I hope you all had a great time and managed to enjoy the lovely sunshine. I will continue to set work on here and Class Dojo along with Purple Mash. Remember you can save work into your Portfolio on Class Dojo or save work directly on Purple Mash (when it has been set on there). I love seeing all your great efforts.
I am looking forward to catching up with you all during my regular phone call (this week it will be Tuesday 14th July).
Take care and stay safe,
Mrs Ellis and Miss Chalice

Science: Materials and their Properties
We have been sorting a range of materials in different forms as part of our science topic. We have sorted different items of plastic, glass, fabric, rock, metal and wood.
Sorting materials
Traditional tales
We have been reading lots of traditional tales. We then chose different tales and used puppets and masks to help us to retell the stories. We acted out: The Three Billy Goat's Gruff, The Three Little Pigs and the Little Red Hen. We then did lots of focus work on Jack and the Beanstalk and we described the giant and wrote some excellent stories. We also did a fantastic assembly based on our work.
We love traditional Tales!
Santa Express Trip
On Wednesday the 18th December the whole school went on Santa Express and we had a fabulous time. The children saw a magician before meeting Father Christmas and receiving some lovely presents. They also ate their packed lunch on the train. The children really enjoyed themselves and were very well behaved. They were a real credit to the school.
