Welcome to Year 1E 1

Welcome back after the half term, we hope you have had a relaxing half term break and are now recharged and ready to complete our first term this year. 

 

Our topic this half term continues to be 'All About Me' we will be finding out more about animals and their offspring. We will identify and compare, fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals. We will also find out more about herbivores, carnivores and omnivores  We will also be finding out about Transport 100 years ago. Our literacy focus will be stories by Julia Donaldson, including Superworm, Stickman and The Smartest Giant.

Thank you to all the parents and carers who joined us for bring a parent to school day. We had a great time writing firework poems and making rocket fireworks.
On Wednesday 13th November we put away our pens in support of dyslexia awareness week. Have a look at some of our photographs to see what we got up to.
