Mathematics

In Nursery we follow 'Master the Curriculum' scheme of work from the White Rose Hub. It breaks the children's learning down into small steps and covers a range of topics throughout the year.  The activities and resources get children engaged and excited about maths, which they can then take with them as they move up the school.

Summer 1

In Summer One the children will be learning about sequencing different events that the children experience e.g. daily routine, nursery rhymes and stories. The children will be exploring positional language in, on, under, next to. They will be looking at groups of objects and saying which group has 'more than' or 'fewer than'. The children will also be learning about 2D shapes.
